LEVERAGING AI FOR PRODUCTION-READY DESIGN/COMPONENT SYSTEMS
Consistent, Compliant, and On-Brand
Right now, I’m building a design system in Claude for a client’s dev team — not wireframes, not Figma files waiting on handoff, but production-ready component systems where the design artifact is the code artifact.
A year ago, I would have suggested that most design systems should be succinct because humans will only read so much documentation. But now AI reads the documentation, and robust design systems (created by designers) will allow teams to quickly create new features and pages that are more consistent, ADA-compliant, and on-brand.

The traits anyone would desire in a creative problem solver.
Brian would take a challenging problem, turn it sideways in his head and find a new way to think about it that was unseen before. His designs were always compelling without ever losing sight of the audience(s) they were designed to reach.

Live Entertainment Booking App
We’re helping bars find and connect with local performers, local performers find gigs, and massively improving the user experience of booking live entertainment.
For this project, I collaborated with the LiveLink founder Keeva Koppinger and the amazing development team at CABEM Technologies. I provided market research, discovery, branding, designs, and developer-friendly Figma prototype for this mobile-first consumer app.
This product is in beta now and will have a broader release for the Boston, MA area soon!
Scheduling App for Music Schools
Booking a series of private music lessons is nothing like scheduling a recurring business meeting, class, or event. I designed a unique calendar system that makes it easy to book simultaneous lesson slots for a whole family, resolve any individual weeks that need rescheduling, bulk-schedule lessons, and translate schedules into billing, secure payments, and automated re-enrollments.
Streaming and Artist Support App
Aria Music reached out pre-launch. They had the sense something about their investor pitch wasn't working, but they couldn't put their finger on what. I helped them reposition their product to the right market, clarify their offering, find their brand voice, and create a new pitch deck.
Brian is the coolest strategist I’ve met. He surfaced market opportunities, clarified our offering, and codified our customer’s motivations. Now we have an unforgettable story to help musicians, fans, and investors understand how our product can improve their lives. With Brian’s help, we’ve found ourselves.

Product Market Research
A Pharma-Tech company wanted to determine how (and if) to go to market with a new product. I designed and conducted a survey and interviews with target customers, analyzed the results, and reported back with insights:
- Identified the buying decision team, preferred cost models, and pricing expectations.
- Surfaced buyer sentiment, positioning options, a niche market, and key differentiators—and sales strategies for each target company size.
- I wrote and designed the 30-page report — including all of the infographics.
Brian was the secret sauce that made our products great.
He possesses great intuition for understanding user needs, business requirements, and human psychology. These qualities were crucial for designing products that enhanced our users' ability to do their jobs while also being fun to use. In addition, he’s an excellent team lead, able to effectively corral the development resources necessary to implement his vision. Finally, he's a fantastic human being and a joy to work with.
Aviv Roth, Senior Software Engineer
"Our success as a company was due in large part to Brian’s vision and effort. Over countless hours of client calls, I watched Brian collaborate with many different client teams in his easy friendly manner, teasing out even those requirements that the clients could not articulate themselves. Brian took those needs, melded them with his own intuitive understanding of interface design, and provided clear functional requirements to the development team to realize his vision of the product."
